Earlier this morning, CMA CGM announced that external access to all IT applications was unavailable as they deal with a cyber-attack.

Here’s what we know:

  • At 8:10 AM EST, CMA CGM confirmed that the service interruption was the result of what they believe to be a cyber-attack impacting peripheral servers.
  • We have been told that external access was shut down to prevent the malware from spreading; their IT teams are actively investigating the issue and are working to restore service.
  • The CMA CGM network remains available to the Group’s customers for all booking and operation requests.
  • CEVA Logistics does not appear to be affected by the attack.
  • An update has not been posted since 9am; however, CMA CGM has indicated that they will release an update by the end of the day.
  • CMA CGM owns APL, so the APL website appears to be affected as well.

For all bookings and local operations, CMA CGM has asked that you contact your local agency.
