Nothing like waiting until the last minute…!

Importers seeking refunds based on Craft Beverage Modernization Act (CBMA) tax benefits assigned to them by foreign producers may now access the CBMA Importer Claims System; the portal is available on myTTB. Importers may file claims for refunds based on entries made during the first calendar quarter of 2023. 

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has published a user guide that provides step-by-step instructions for submitting claims in the myTTB CBMA Importer Claims System, through the regular claims submission process. The user guide is available on the CBMA Imports page under the Importer Claims System dropdown menu.
