Per our previous Shap Flashes, on Sunday, June 30th, 2019, the office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) announced the implementation of an electronic portal to aid in the process of filing Section 301 List 3 tariff exclusions.

While the portal has been active for a couple months now, please note that all Section 301 List 3 exclusion requests are due by Monday, September 30th, and can be adjusted and/or resubmitted up to 14 days after posting. Replies to comments are due within 1 week (7 days) of receipt.

Though the deadline is fast approaching, don’t fret as Shapiro has partnered with a top-tier Customs and trade attorney to assist with all aspects of the exclusion filing process. Please note: In order to allow for adequate processing time, we are requesting that any parties interested in Shapiro’s exclusion filing services have all information submitted to us no later than Friday, September 13th.

Click here or contact our team of Compliance experts today for more information on Shapiro’s Section 301 List 3 recipe for success!

Shapiro will continue to monitor the situation and provide status updates on our Section 301 Tariff News page as they become available.
